Horse to Hyperloop: the Evolution of Design

*Cooper’s Studios will be closed Friday 7 September.* The last day to see Horse to Hyperloop is Saturday 8 September.

Ryder Architecture invite you to explore the high-speed transport of tomorrow inside a building with a fascinating link to the travel of the past.

Never heard of a horse and carriage repository? That’s because you’re used to multi-story parking for your car, not your horse.

Only a few of these 19th Century buildings remain in the world but you’ll get to explore one of them on this journey into the world of transport, technology and design.

Have a go at designing an imaginary bridge over the Tyne or a carriage for Northern Arc – the revolutionary Hyperloop travel system that could propel you between Newcastle and Manchester in just 20 minutes.

Become a city architect for the day, try out the interactive wall and 3D model your own structure to take home.
