As a leading and growing industry for the North East, manufacturing is central to many regional businesses, both directly and in the supply chain. It is therefore critical that those working in the sector continue to engage and share original thinking in order to further innovation in the sector.

What we’re exploring

The 12th Emerging Tech event is delivered in collaboration with Innovation SuperNetwork as part of VentureFest 2018. This ‘Manufacturers Marketplace made simple’ session will focus on the funding and support available to North East Manufacturers for innovation across the region.

Why you should come

Equip your business with tools to get ahead of the curve with innovation and see what opportunities and support is available to help implement innovative processes and bring new and emerging technologies to market.

This event will give you the opportunity to:

  • Hear from Innovation SuperNetwork on the funding and support available to local SMEs through the GX Project Grants Scheme and more.
  • Find out how other businesses in the region are innovating in the Advanced Manufacturing sector and share your concerns and challenges, as well as learning from those of other businesses in the region.

This event will create a space for conversations and collaboration to begin –  a great way to kick-start a step-change in your organisation, and in the sector.

The event will take place at the St James’ Park Conference Venue, located in the heart of Newcastle, as part of VentureFest 2018.

To get a ticket for our event, please register for VentureFest – this will also give you access to the rest of the programme.
