N18 Artist Development Programme

N18 will bring together an array of creative practitioners from across the North, providing space for them to use new digital tools and technologies to help develop their practice and increase their audience reach, in response to The Story of the North. The N18 community of makers will be supported by leading digital practitioners and technologists and have the chance to create their own response to GEOTN commissions.

We are inviting applications from creative individuals living in the North, 18 of whom will be selected to take part in a four-month learning programme from June-September 2018.

Aspiring, emerging and established artists are invited to apply; you do not need to have had any experience of using digital tools before – just a curiosity and an openness to experiment.

You can apply as an individual or as a collaboration with another artist.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the BBC on this programme. N18 has been inspired by an original concept developed by Manchester International Festival’s Creative50 programme.
