The GX project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Growth Programme 2014-20 for England.
GX project
The GX project is the legacy project of the Great Exhibition of the North. Led by NewcastleGateshead Initiative, and supported by the Innovation Super Network and Newcastle City Council, GX provides a range of opportunities for North-East SMEs and scaleups to support them in harnessing their innovation potential and capacity.
Innovation was at the heart of the Great Exhibition of the North, which celebrated our innovative heritage of the past and sought to support the North East’s innovative businesses of the future through the legacy GX project, which provides a programme of intensive business support, which runs until December 2019.
