The Dog Ate My Wheelchair

The Dog Ate My Wheelchair is a unique multi-screen video installation exploring the experiences of disabled people throughout the region.

Disability North have been working with established artist, Neil Armstrong, to bring together disabled people from the North East to converse about their everyday lives and the places in the region which inspire them.

The 4 screens can be found at Newcastle Haymarket, Clayton Street, and Newcastle Central Library, along with a longer film playing inside the library.  By providing glimpses into the worlds of the participants in the project, we hope the piece will stimulate conversation and provide a moment of contemplation for all who encounter it.
