Emerging Tech in Transport – networking event

What we’re exploring

This event follows on from the Emerging Tech in Transport event held in June 2018 that explored innovative digital-led strategies to boost the use of public transport. Now we’ll investigate techonological innovations that are reducing congestion and road emissions creating more sustainable urban areas.

• Delve into the world of MaaS, digitalisation in transport and sustainable public transport with like-minded individuals
• Find out what funding is available to SMEs through the GX Project Grant Scheme and speak to members GX Project team

This event will create a space for conversations and collaborations to begin –  a great way to kick-start a step-change in your organisation, and in the sector.

This event will be held at Bamburgh House, in the centre of Newcastle.

The GX Project

The GX Project, led by NewcastleGateshead Initiative, provides a range of opportunities to North-East SMEs and scaleups before, during and after the Great Exhibition of the North. With a focus on innovation the project is designed to enable local businesses to benefit from the unique platform provided by the Exhibition during the summer, and allows the region to continue to capitalise on it through a programme of intensive business support running until September 2019.
