BBC Music introducing presents

Introducing provides a network dedicated to supporting the best emerging talent from across the UK and a platform to propel them onto the national stage through Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6 Music, the Asian Network and Radio 3.
It gives up-and-coming artists broadcast opportunities on BBC radio, television and online alongside the chance to perform at major festivals and showcases. Big name artists including Florence + the Machine, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Declan McKenna, Blossoms, Nao, George Ezra, The Big Moon, Tom Grennan, James Bay and Jack Garratt all received BBC Music Introducing support at the start of their careers.
There will be 6 amazing acts from the North of England introduced by Nick Roberts andTom Robinson from BBC Radio 6 Music.

- Polo who are from Leeds and have already played Live at Leeds and The Great Escape
- Dylan Cartlidge is a singer, MC and multi-instrumentalist from Middlesbrough supported by BBC Music Introducing Tees. His latest, Scratch, Sniff, has been a Huw Stephens track of the week.
- Chrystal is an RnB/pop singer from Bolton supported by BBC Music Introducing in Manchester. She has been compared to Lily Allen, Katy B and Ray BLK.
- Roxy Girls from Sunderland are relatively new to the BBC Introducing Uploader
- Headlining: Sam Fender from North Shields. He was on the BBC Music Sound of 2018 longlist and has recently been to SXSW with BBC Music Introducing.
