Little Inventors

Our next generation of children and young people will design, invent and create tomorrow’s world and are crucial to driving the North’s future economy.

Our schools programme will inspire children and young people from across the North to imagine the future. They’ll be able to do everything from inventing products that will appear in the Exhibition to exploring what their own career pathway could be. Over 25,000 children will visit the Exhibition in person with their school, and every school across the North can access a suite of learning resources where they can upload pictures and responses from their classroom. Opportunities to build skills in young people include volunteering roles for those aged 16 and above and students from any age can engage with employability skills activities and live panels.

Little Inventors North 2030 Challenge

Children aged 4-12 can enter the Little Inventors North 2030 challenge to see their ideas turned into reality and showcased in the Exhibition.
